Risk Management
Course Overview
Day 1
The first day of this course provides participants with the knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to identify different types of workplace hazards, assess the risk of an accident or injury occurring and develop risk controls.
Course Outcomes
At the completion of day 1 of the training, you will be able to:

Recognise your legal obligations in relation to hazard management.

Understand risk management principles and processes, use different techniques to identify your workplace hazards.

Assess the level of risk associated with each hazard.

Systematically rank and prioritise risks.

Apply the risk control hierarchy to eliminate or reduce risks in your workplace.
Day 2
The second Day will develop the skills learnt on day one and provide participants with additional skills to develop a risk management plan.
Course Outcomes
At the completion of day 2 of the training, you will be able to:
- Develop a risk management plan; and
- Develop an action plan
