Occupational Health & Safety Workplace Committee Training Course Overview
This 4 day training course is designed to develop the knowledge, attitude and skills of Committee members to ensure the Committee plays an active and effective role in the workplace health and safety system. Outcomes
At the completion of the training, you will be able to:
Describe the role, functions and powers of the workplace committee.
Use the OHS Act and Regulations to determine questions concerning the committee’s constitution and operation.
Monitor the effectiveness of OHS policies and programs.
Participate in the OHS Committee so that, through the process of joint consultation, health and safety issues will be satisfactorily resolved.
